RE:RE:RE:RE:Raise money burn money
RE:RE:RE:RE:Raise money burn money Depends who you roll with. I have several people that come to mind that have a medicine cabinet worth of strains and formats sitting on their coffee tables. I'd be willing to bet Drake has several strains at his disposal that arent even Bullrdr. Again, the industry is in the first inning. And saying it doesnt have the 'panache' of alcohol when Molson and Constellation have already invested billions into the industry is very telling. They're seeing sales declining year over year in the alcohol industry, and furthered by sales growth in the cannabis industry. As generations turn over it will be magnified. While I agree there is difficulty competing when Canada has steifeled our ability to brand with any sort of differentiation, those same laws do not exsist outside the country. You dont think we'll be allowed to have flashy packaging when selling to Europe or Isreal? Do you think the US will be allowed to do so internationally but we wont?
Keep in mind what I said about the generational divide. Show me one rapper the kids follow these days that doesnt smoke weed (albeit of course there are some that dont) but the hyperbole is to highlight its use among the younger generations. We've come along way from the hippies of woodstock. Like anything else the stigma generally takes 3 generations to be entierly wiped out psychologically. Big marketing knows that. Molson knows that. Constellation certainly knows that.

IMO there wlll never be the level of marketing assigned to it. They are not going to ban cigarette ads and allow for open marketing of Cannbas. Much of the price elasticity you get in selling alcohol is established by your abilty to market the product.and create a strong media message that will permit significant pricing premiums.
