Therma already said they are expecting approval which should be granted this week from the REB. There is no logical theory that would suggest thrm wasn't granted testing. That fear mongering is not even worth entertaining.
Perhaps this testing site in a heavily hit population is an excellent way to promote the quality of test therma has to the South American region at a attractive price point.
The current sp with this news is IMO irrelevant. The upside to this is huge. I may not be as ambitious as others but a fair market value to look forward to is $3-4
