RE:RE:RE:More large insider buys !!
So here are my thoughts on rising interest rates for what its worth. If they are rising because an economy is strengthening, which I believe is happening, then it would make sense that the underlying value of the portfolio would have to increase right along side of rates and likely even moreso. I have noted in previous threads that our NAV would likely be increasing on its own without too much intervention (or major direction change). No one likes the pace of the rate rise and I get that but one needs to keep things in perspective. We are still in a low rate environment. I truly believe we get to 2% sooner than later and likely 3% plus by years end. Having said that, (in Canada) if all remains equal I am reasonably confident that the central bank will ease bond buying at their next meeting. As far as the fed goes, looks like the bond market is doing the calling on its own and obviously strongly disagree with what Powell has said. Fits and starts, keep buying stocks into the last quarter, then lighten as I belive a reconning will be on the horizon after that. Theres my two cents, don't spend it all at the same place. Best of luck.
