Sometimes you bet rightSo I did a sweeping portfolio rebalancing a few weeks back to repatriate 2020's gains back into my core portfolio from my small caps.
Two small caps I kept were NTAR and IP.
NTAR I have taken so much off the table my remaining holdings are more than free in the sense profits significantly in excess of the cost of my original holdings are nicely at work now earning dividends
Because of NTAR, I was in early with IP. made some good money on the last runup, but then on the price drop I rebought what I sold and added, to the point where every penny gained or lost means $1105 to me
But where I really feel I bet right was on IP and its tech and its management and their story.
Where NTAR is looking to go big in a number of ways, IP has focused on particular capabilities and patents related to geolocation and development of the "pokemon go" platform to deliver all kinds of good stuff to users.
I do expect more ups and down, but I expect that in a few years this is definitely a multi dollar stock. Where it lands, quis sais....forecasting specific shareprices is a mugs game or a contest
All I can say is I am happy to be in and to be seeing this go
