While you do your distance calculation from the centroid of the Ortoire block's oil production centroid of those BPTT huge oil tanks versus PaP......

You might want to go back to revisit XM's video AAPG (recently posted) presentation to find the foci of his study while employed at Petrotrin. Look for his mention of a more (congenial) westerly target area versus the more fractured/complex of the present target area, mostly derisked/simplified by Shell's historical drilling. e.g. what torque issues does a mud selection present to a drill string at 10k ft.. or even 18k ft. in 2021 versus the 1970's? Something addressed on ADVFN giving kudos to the TXP technical team.

Next question to ponder is what software & seismic did Shell (& Exxon) have at their disposal versus some of the technology used by XM some 50 years later?
