RE:RE:45 Feet approaching 2 oz's per ton Gold DrilledDo you think Kirkland Lake will buyout New Found Gold? I have thought of that scenario since the Queensway property and specifically the Keats Zone would be a perfect fit for them only mining very high grade gold deposits. The Queensway is a high value asset so it would take a major like Kirkland Lake to be able to buyout NFG for at least one billion dollars. I am hopeful it ends up being several billion but only the drill results will determine if that happens.
Not a chance Megacopper my good friend. Although KL has mined
more of these structures you have to realize the present management
slighted Eric and Quinton and act like they know better than them.
Eric Sprott was on the board when I think they also got rid of QH as
an advisor. The management went buying for Detour gold which
gave them a huge indigestion problem as it is a very large low grade
system. It was there way of diversifying and ensuring they would
have a long time project. I will let others put their 2 cents on KL
but their game plan no longer aligns as I see it and do not think
they could afford it anymore even though they have a dividend.
