S&p/TSX composite index

We will now be part of a 250 stock index as of Mon March 22nd. Since the news was released of the 13 new stock additions I was surprised to learn that collectively they underperformed the index over the last 5 days. 

The S&P/TSX closed last at 18854 compared to Fri March 12th closing at 18851. If you had invested equally in the 13 new stock additions after the news release you would have been down about 3.31% compared to the last closing price on Friday March 12th. 10 out of the 13 stocks were in the red. The index on the other hand was relatively flat 

Lets hope the next week is much better for these 13 companies and more importantly for Acuity shareholders.
