Kontrol might simply not have management with the right experience and connections to seriously promote a BioCloud.
That's kind of what I'm thinking. In Kontrol's core business they've historically probably signed one or two contracts a month, maybe less on average. Slow and plodding, a good enough philosophy for the core but definitely not for a mass market situation like Biocloud. Just one look at their videos is proof enough that they know nothing about pizzazz and creating excitement. Paul Ghezzi's public temperment is more church minister than marketeer, and that's been infused into the snoozer marketing campaign. All the excitement of going to church. They need some showmanship and should be hiring someone who knows where right buttons are and how to push them. Their big secret blackout on sales information hasn't helped either.
