Third party cookies represented about 20% of Ttd's revenue source and it might be just as high for Acuity. The whole industry needs to address this shift and this is how unified I.d 2.0 came to be. Illumin basically needs to be compatible with this and some of the other experimental adoptions such as Neustar's "Fabrick." Also, Live ramp has their own identity solution called Authenticated traffic solution (ATS). Perhaps there will be more than one winner but it's likely Unified I.D  2.0 will be 
here to stay.
