RE:Microsoft to buy Discord $ 10 bill...While this is a win for the social media/tech sector, this comparison is a bit of a stretch. Discord is nothing like EGLX, and would be more or less compared to SnapChat, WhatsApp, IG, TikTok, etc. Unlike EGLX, Discord OWNs 100% of the product (Desktop/Mobile app), and generates revenue and will generate future revenue from said product. EGLX on the other hand owns some products but part of its 300MM viewership base to my understanding is not 100% but shared through affiliations, e.g. partnerships with YouTube/Twitch/TikTok stars who own their own channels (not EGLX). Therefore, while our viewership potential exceeds Discord, our ownership and ultimately revenue may not because we do not hold a valuable asset such as the Discord app. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that's how I see it.
Nonetheless, revenue beat, and for growth stocks, this is much more important than EPS at this stage. I am perfectly happy with EGLX stabilizing at $9/share because it has already gone up 400% and stable growth is much more sustainable than hyperinflation.
Please due your own DD -- this is not advice. I am a current shareholder of EGLX and are my thoughts only.
