ARIS REPORT - LORD NELSON

ARIS REPORT - LORD NELSONFound a bit of intel on - Lord Nelson...
You'll never guess whose name was mentioned  in the Aris report
= Kruchkowski

Skip to - Decades website - Lord Nelson -
i can see the Geologist everywhere but...THE SILTS...
In fact, there's no massive silts pic - shown on DEC's website.

Geologist- ( ypunger )  is seen chipping rocks and located in ( what appears to be
almost lilke -rubble rock  - and perhaps - argillites or other dark ores )
I will say.. .very nice copper + gold samples.

if one zooms in on this pic - you'll see some serious silts...

ARIS REPORT
Lord Nelson is referred to as - LNT

What have i come across - that is interesting ? pg 58

There are no Minfile Occurrences on the LNT and little detailed historic work has been carried out. The most apparent historic development was the delineation of the AeroTEM anomaly on the LNT in 2005 (Table H2) and the anomaly’s along strike extension to the south (Figures 14,

- A). Placer mining was the main activity in the early 1900’s and was carried out in Nelson, Del Norte and Willoughby Creeks.

While there are no historic mineralized showings on the LNT, there are a number south of the tenures, including the K-LG vein system associated with the Del Norte Trend (Figures 11C, P2; Table H2)
.

wango- placer mining - right out of the gates...Indicating minerals are present in placer.
next up -  sorry but - geologist - has his mind on the K- LG  viens...
I stress - there are al ltypes of geologists - each have their preferences...
hard core hard rockers - alluvial placers -  completely different breeds... wink.
all in the eye of the beholder/preference.
what would occur if two geologists were sent in same area...
placer and hard rock - what would the assesment be then ?

NEXT EXCERPT -  ( comparing Lord Nelson similarities to Red Mountain ) pg 58
Soil samples from the Summit Zone on the Cornice Mountain Property contain anomalous Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, As and Sb values over a distance of 350 m (Nicholson & Associates, 1994). Erratic cpy mineralization and elevated Au, Cu and Zn suggested the possibility of a deep-seated Red Mt.
type deposit in the area of the Summit Zone and the quartz monzonite intrusion on Nelson Creek.

As part of regional programs in the 1970’s and 80’s, Falconbridge Nickel Mines Ltd. and Noranda Explorations Ltd. carried out reconnaissance surveys for Cu-Mo porphyry and base metal targets. Four of the Noranda silt samples returned anomalous values in Au, Cu, Pb, Zn, As, Bi and Mo that appear to have sources on LNT 396304

Wango -
and there it is...
silt samples with the presence of key minerals.

Now... when rocks are sampled - labs provide a grams for gold per tonne.
          percentage copper per tonne.

But... when soil samples are sent in...values are give nin - ppm.

In some studes i've read... ppm is a value per liter.
In one metric tonne there are 1,000 cubic liters.

Therefore ...if a soil sample was sent in...
i myself would ask for the ppm values per liter...
and simply multiply this ppm value x 1000 - to arrive at - ppm per tonne.
Then - cnvert the ppm to percent.

You guessed my - angst - right ?
Yes... rock or soil samples shouls be converted by the labs to - grams for majority of metals .
and... percentage for copper... scrap the ppm not unless it's brines.
After all -- everything in mining is wrapped around tonnes - right ?

Now... i often wondered if.. .
Labs actually take that weight of ore firstly.
Arrive at a weight per cubic tonne.
Then.. divide it by a 2.5  or what ever weight the ore is based on vubic tonne.
Then... provide a grade value for the mineral - based on how many tonnes are in
a cubic meter...

Quick story... i called a lab - ( sometime ago )
and enquired about this process of arriving at - gram or ppm - per tonne.
Waht a hairball conversation it was... lol

Let's just say... i did not walk away with a confidence in the assay  lab -
when asking how they arrive at ppm, grams... lol

Hence. ...if dealing with copper - ask for the ppm per liter.
Stamped. ...lol

If it's gold - ask... what equation did they use to arrive at - grams per tonne.
What ore weight did they use per cubic meter... wink.

So... the Aris report seems to point to - there's minerals in the - placer/alluvials.
Secondly... it was actually mined long ago.
Now.. why havent the geologists revisited this silt/ placer - strong point ?
Especially with that much silt seen ?
