RE:LORD NELSON - COPPER ORE - PART 2Dear Friend WangoTango67: We have to re-visit your calculations. Maybe others (Highper, etal) could chime in. I do admire your dedication and enthusiasm, and thanks for posting the 2015 Aris Report that I downloaded and quickly reviewed, that was paid for by BC Mines & Ed is mentioned and given credit for discoveries. You stated: WHAT'S 100 PPM ? .01% per tonne. = TRUE
& 1 tonne = 1000kg, therefore 1% is 1/100
th of 1000kg = 10kg, and 0.01% is 1/100
th of 10kg = 0.1kg x 2.2#/kg = 0.22#s
(NOT 22#), so 0.01% of a tonne = 0.22#s
0.22#s x $4/# copper = $0.88/tonne (US)
You can also use the calculator for base & PMs @
https://www.vanadiumprice.com/ that Kitco has copper today @ US$4.09
BTW, you stated: 100 ppm = .01% = 1/10 of one percent
is actually 1/100 of 1%
BTW, when I read your post with the $88/tonne, and $440/t, + I almost peed my pants!
