Do we now have 5 Million Ounces

Do we now have 5 Million OuncesA rough estimate suggests that these deep holes extending below the pit shell could boost total resources to 5 million ounces.

The open pit has an average depth of 400 m and contains 2.51 million ounces at an average grade of 2.54 gms per ton.

This is near identical to Kibali open pit average grades.

So, 2.51 ounces / 400 m = 6275 ounces per vertical meter.

The extra 140 meters would add 6275 X 140 = 875,000 ounces of gold.

Average underground grades at Kilbali are twice those of the open pit.

Todays drill results show that much  higher grades exist below the pit.

Taking Kibali as the proxy ( undergound grades twice those of open pit ) , this 140 m underground extension could add 2 X 875,000 ounces or about 1.75 million ounces

Along with 1.2 m ounces from Makapela, total ounces at Imbo would be above 5 million ounces.

And we have just started to drill the high grade underground motherlodes
