RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:AQN got 2 huge project Hey Bossu
Thanks for the nice comments.
I also do quite a bit of day/short term trading with some of our extra cash. I did this off and on for a few years but really ramped it up starting last March with the recovery from the Covid crash.
I do slightly bigger $ amounts than you and only trade in stocks we already own. I always put a sell order in right after the buy so that I don't have to watch it very closely and the make sure it does't get in the way of our regular day to day life. I aso never sell for a loss. I just wait it out no matter how long it takes.
We also have never had an advisor and have done everything on our own (with RBC Direct Investing).
It is nice to see respectful SH posts. There is sure a lot of nasty postings (especially ENB) but I find it quite useful and interesting to see what people are thinking anf doing.
Take care
Sarge

Age make a big difference and the sooner you take the good decision the better it is.
When part of your holding is in a regular account it make a big difference and when it's time to make a moove to take a profit or loss is a bit ''worrysome when it's time to make your annual financial report.
Just want to add that I d'ont want to be invested in a ''regular'' account and do not have to take care of my investment and ''frequently''trade for small profit/loss in my 2 TFSA accounts while receiving non taxable dividends .
Same thing with my RIFF :Frequently trade and no worry about profi/loss .
As an example I frequently trade Keyara for small profit and a $ 0,75 on 1000 shares in a couple of day is a decent reward !
You just have to have a good timing !
By the way I have not been talking with any brokers for 50 years and all my transactions are made by a discount broker but read a lot and connected to BNN.
Just wanted to tell you part of my storey because i like the way you are expressing yourself on the Stockhouse bullboard.
In summary :Very refreshing !
