We'll never know if the board helped him make that decision, or if it was the new investors he brought in at the same price they would have been offered 5 years ago, all we'll know is that he finally agreed to a deal while simultaneously announcing his departure. Correlation is not causation but how else does he go from the deal he made last fall to the deal he announced this week?
