RE:Timing in oil sector can make or break you. I would not suggest that Nuttal does not have an agenda. That would be naive. To not do your own DD is more of a sin than listening to anyone that comes on BNN Market Call or any other financial stock advice comentator. THEY ALL HAVE AN AGENDA, and that is to make money.
Eric Nuttal is THE most informed fund manager in the Canadian oil patch and focusus on small and mid cap stocks. He is the exact same as one of my favorite past guests John Embry who was with Sprott. They both recomend stocks they own. For every person complaining that they promote what they own, if they did not own the stock those same people would complain because he was not putting his money where his mouth is...There is no pleasing everyone.
There are many new investors in the market due to the pandemic and more people staying home....Some just got in to the market in the last twelve months. These investors are most likely forgo DD for having someone tell them what to buy then blaming them when things don't go as planned
