RE:BEFORE WE START
There is a sector rotation out of the so-called "high-flying tech, high growth, stay-at-home" stocks, and into the value or cyclical stocks. Like it or not, we are losing share value as part of that rotation. More recently, all sectors are suffering, including value stocks. There is nothing unique or particular to WELL that would explain the downturn in its share price. We are likely in for more pain in the share price, and it may be wise to raise cash through other sources to be prepared to buy shares of WELL, which may indeed come down to $6.00. I do not see anything on the immediate horizon which will prevent a further slide in sp.
Given that even value stocks are now suffering, its hard to see where there is a clear safe spot to hide in this market environment. I am not about to buy into some oil company or lumber company on the basis that these reopening stocks will fly in a few weeks when vaccinations have been completed. Given the uncertain market environment, I think all one can do is hang on to companies which you believe in. I agree with the comment from an earlier post that WELL should ultimately do well in any market environment.
