hey red, i have a craftsman mower that sat in my garage without being touched and my electric mower finally gave up the ghost so today was the big test to confirm craftsman supremecy.

can you guess how many pulls it took to start it?

red, i forgot to add that it hadn't been started in almost 7 years.

Likely you have a Briggs & Stratton engine?

IF SO__then IF you had drained your fuel tank dry 7 years ago__your mower should
have started normally with the first pull once you pushed the primer bulb a few times.

However__IF you had left the fuel in the tank for 7 years there could be a chance that
the main fuel jet in the carburetor would have plugged up a tad__or totally__with fuel ageing
residues__especially as there often is a bit of water in the tank/carburator__so with these
conditions your mower may NOT even start no matter how many pulls__and the ONLY
Fix is to take the bottom bowl off the carburator and clean out the main fuel jet.

But of course YOU Got LUCKY eh ??????

first pull!  it's a kholer,  i drained the tank and let it run dry before putting it away.  today it got ethanol free rocket fuel, $1.69.9/liter.

that ahole trudeau should forget all his bs spending and bring back sears.
