It all depends on two factors:
1) Will the stock market correct inducing fear and a flight to perceived safety of gold. 
2) Will the bond rate fall while inflation remains stable or increases? 

Investors lost billions in VIAC and related stocks - this isn't the only house of cards waiting to crumble... way too many stocks waiting to fall - TSLA is another house of cards. VW will eat its lunch and TSLA earnings still have to grow at least 100%/year to deserve a stock price 1/10 of its current value. Many investors will lose their government stimulus cheque in that fall. 

I don't think the bond rate will fall - the US Gov't is working too hard to flood the world with US Currency and with that lack of scarcity, inflation will come alive again. However, that will cause the stock market to fall. I remember 1980 as well as 2008. Just watching the charts to see who's moving into gold and when.
