Definitely not delusional, seems kinda harsh really. Nor did I say HE lost money like that. I did learn a lesson though, that I am certainly not a momentum trader. I took his "recommendation" to mean that it was a company with long term growth prospects, not a momentum play. Since the company had no long term growth prospects AND had no momentum, I would say it was just a very bad call and he wouldn't have made any money either.
