RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:WilanderI happen to think current Quarterhill management is very capable and doing a good job. Jim Skippen as CEO?
I kind of agree with you about the fit. If they could put it together in a cash & stock deal I think Bay Street would probably fall in love with it. Suddenly you'd have the Baylin 5G growth story excitement but on a solid financial foundation and with super-solid (I suspect) IP foundation. The WiLAN up-and-down results would become much less dominant as a part of the story. The ITS story would still be there, now not so overshadowed by the WiLAN revenue quarter-to-quarter flip-flops.
But there are many things that could keep this from happening. If you had perfect access you'd probably want to start by talking with Jeffrey Royer.
Regardless, I wouldn't hold your breath. Note that on Quarterhill's recent Q4 CC all the talk was ITS this and ITS that. If they're currently thinking about something else--like, say, antennas--there wasn't the slightest indication of it on that call.
