On a personal note, it almost makes no difference to me. Some years ago, I developed an allergy to the growth hormones found in most domestic stocks of meat. I can only eat wild or organic meats without suffering migraine headaches and visual disturbances. It makes me wonder what these additives may be doing to others over time - accelerating "diseases of old age," perhaps.
