Alternate Symbol(s):  NBMFF

NEO Battery Materials Ltd. is a Canadian battery materials technology company. It is focused on developing silicon anode materials for lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles, electronics, and energy storage systems. With a patent-protected, low-cost manufacturing process, it enables longer-running and ultra-fast charging batteries compared to existing technologies. It is a producer of silicon anode materials for the electric vehicle and energy storage industries. It is developing and optimizing its silicon anode materials, NBMSiDE, through its all-in-one manufacturing process. Its three types of products, NBMSiDE-P100, NBMSiDE-P200, and NBMSiDE-C100 are manufactured through its nanocoating technology and are based on metallurgical-grade silicon with purities of at least 99.95%. It has developed a nanocoating process to manufacture silicon anodes. I did more DD and this is what I found. 3 - more updates

I did more DD and this is what I found. 3 - more updatesSo after the last update I shared, I did more DD, tried to find information in English and Korean.

1. Surprisingly, I was able to find quite number of artices in the local Korean newspapers in Korea (not in those Korean newspapres produced in Canada). One of the main reason is the relationship betrween NBM and L&F Co. As we already know NBM welcomed number of officers and researchers from L&F. These people hold positions in both companies. L&F is a company that has $2.5 B market cap. It has working relationship with LG Chemicals, which supplies to Tesla. According to the most recent report from one of the banking companies in Korea, L&F's battery will be used for LG M50 battery, which will be again used by Tesla. The target SP is 125% of the current SP, which has been already doubled since the last year.

2.  So again, as I previously wrote, the determinative question is - "what is the connection between L&F co and NBM?" To find an answer, I had dig up some Korean news paper articles.

3. On March 17, a Korean newspaper company, "Electronic Times' published an article. In the article, it talks about MR. Hwang Sung Rok joining NBM as COO. It talks further about the fear of skilled Korean researchers leaving Korea. The article further talks about the licensing agreement that NBM signed with Yonsei university regarding Silicon Anode batteries. The article explains that the agreement allows the NBM to use the licnese and commercialize.

4. On another article regarding the licensing agreement wtih Yonsei university, which was published on March 10  our CEO, Mr. Huh talks about what NEO does. He says NEO aims to utilize the silicon anode batteries in the next 2 years, and list with NASDAQ. With the licensing agreement, he expects to speedy up the researching process and commercialize in Korea and Canada asap.

5. So definately the NBM is moving the right way, in acordance with the plan of our CEO, mr Huh. More and more I dig in, i feel like it's the begining of something really special. It is under the radar and SP is very reasonable. I was able to add up my shares in the last few weeks. I will be adding more in dips.

7. I can throw you another interesting fact. Mr. Jaehong Hur, who just joined NBM last week - is the great-grandson of the co-founder of LG. This should be interesting enough for those who knows how Korean Chaebol's do buisnesses.
