RE:THE REALITY OF THE NEWSObviously the potential monopoly obtaining transat would.have been a plus but also come with challenges especially with all that's going on. Let's face it ac still has a pretty big monopoly in the Canadian market and is poised still to have big strangle hold after this. Air transits market share will most likely be taken now without actually having to buy them out. Seems this news was also known as stock price has fallen a bit to its peers in the states even tho ther a bit ahead with travel vaccines ect. I personally dont think the transat deal closing was priced in but at the same time if its a bad deal I'm glad they walked away. They dont need at this point to grow. As for share price in honestly wouldnt be suprised if it was up 5 or down 5 % pre market. But whatever it is I still think will be short lived and stock is mid 30s recovering either way by summer.
