So HEXO loaned money to a business they are taking over ... so they loaned money to themselves ... ok that's good ... what's the problem ??

How stupid are you Queerlash?
Zena's $ 20million is spent, gone, gone, never comes back
In other words, they added $ 20 million to the purchase price.

I'm sorry but Hexo did not lend 20 million to Zena he INVESTED 20 million in Zena a company that will merge with them it is not the same thing to (LEND or INVEST) You no longer know what you are saying . LOVE Mydog

They lent the money to Zena - according to their own statements, not mine - and Zena spent the money. That money is never coming back.
Instead of $235 million (or whatever it will be) - they will have paid $255 million
Zena did not merge with Hexo - Hexo bought Zena. Google the difference between a mmerger and an acquisition - and then look up VEQ to register for your English lessons.
You're in over your head moomoo - au reservoir
