RE:RE:RE:RE:Question for AGM Best means of at least having the question itself read out is to ask during the official business portion of the AGM. Q&A portions of AGMs - ie once the meeting comes to an end are unofficial, and the question itself can be ignored.
So you need to speak up during the officlal portion, and the last chane to do this is when the Chair says "Are there any other items of business" or calls for a motion to end the meeting. But best to put them on notice earlier during the official meeting and say you have some matters you want discussed during the official part of meeting.
If they respond "there will be time for Q & A afterwards" , say "NO, I want to dicuss during the official meeting of shareholders." You have that right.
You may need to have another person ready to second your motion to allow you to raise other business.
Regardless of whether the AGM is in person or virtual, technically, unless you are a registered shareholder, the Chair can ignore you. For Virtual AGMs, this is guaranteed.
So, you need to name yourself as Proxyholder. PLUS you need to go online and register so that second "Control Number" is emailed to you. (Why they cannot use the Contol Number from the VIF Form is not known , but it certainy makes participating more dificult for shareholders).
Note, for Virtual AGMs even Registered Shareholders will need a Control Number to participate.
This is explained in the Crcular, but it is not explained well.
