RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:CDN oil in trouble

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:CDN oil in troubleBack in the eighties , I had the chance to have dinner with one of the muckety mucks with Enron. He had asked me to meet with him in order to pick my brain, I replied my brain only works if it has been well fed. Anyway during a 26 course meal, I was treated to an outline of all their plans to dominate the world. I thought the guy was on drugs, but they sure made an impact.
Well at the height of Enron's glory I ran into the head operations guy from Irving who happened to be on his first and only pilgrimage to San Antonio. No one other than myself knew who he was and so it turned out to be my delight to introduce him to the Enron Emirs.
This was not forgotten by Irving and so years later I got a call from Irving asking if i was interested in the top position. There was only one hitch, was I a religious fellow and did I go to church every Sunday. I replied no. Asked why , I thought back on Enron and replied, I don't think that anyone who dealt in oil will ever make it past St. Peters gate .
well there is too much fog in Saint John for my taste anyway !!
