RE:CJ and WCP ?This is true it takes CJ off the table....we still guessed right based on stock price trading that either WCP or CJ was making some kind of "move"...turns out the move was WCP.
I don't like the move from WCP perspective, Kicking Horse Assets are going to need a ton of capital to fully develop...hence why Kicking Horse put themselves up for sale.
Kicking Horse has good land and some good wells...but it doesnt really fit the dividend model these type of assets.
WCP is going to be paying a divy on these 34.5M plus shares they issued to Kicking Horse Shareholders and it will be awile before these assets pay any type of Free Cashflow.
Guessing Kicking Horse doesn't own any gas plants which is so key too operate things cheaply.
WCP Ceo basically mentioned, I think it was last week or week before that they were not interested in the 6500 BOE of ARC cardium assets that are currently being marketed for sale....that the 225m reclaimation liability was an issue.
Whatever Arc get's for these assets will be a good indicator of what older older oil and gas assets are worth.
Deals are good too see as it give an indicator of what stuff works.
Time will tell if CJ has a deal in the works.
