Largo report production in tonnes of V2O5 which is only 56% Vanadium by mass, and their costs are reported in dollars per lb.

Using a rough production for Largo of (12,000mt x .56%) we get 6720mt. Therefore, Largo is producing approx. 50% more than Bushveld.

Very rough calculation,

My post wasn't very clear, and my calc was a bit off.
This article from the Bushveld  Perspective will do a better job of explaining the difference between Fev and V2O5. which I know you already understand, but newcomers may not.

Clipper,

When you say: that "Largo report production in tonnes of V2O5 which is only 56% Vanadium by mass..."while "BMN report production in actual MTV".
How do you understand production in MTV (metric tonnes Vanadium)? What does the word Vanadium in MTV mean? Does a Vanadium mine like Vametco of Bushveld mine and produce V2O5 or does it mine and produce FeV?
The way I understand it is that V2O5 is mined / extracted / produced from the earth. V2O5 is the main raw material mixed with iron (and other minerals) to make FeV.
When you mention that "Bushveld anticipated production in the range of 3,660 and 3,950 tonnes of vanadium for 2020"are you saying that the production of "3,660 and 3,950 tonnes of vanadium"are all FeV?
In the link you provide (below) notice the sentence "FerroVanadium is a metal alloy (eg like pewter or brass) that can contain any percentage of Vanadium". Does that sentence imply that the "Vanadium" (as in MTV) is not all FeV? or may be I'm wrong?
