The daily volume on TLT has been very low (below the 3m average) since early March. I don't invest in a wide range of stocks so I can't make broad statements. It seems to me that even the most boring, no news stocks I hold seem to have a certain amount of churn everyday. I'm assuming much of it is coming from day traders or HF traders trying to swing trade back and forth. Not my thing so I'm guessing. The low volume for TLT with 190+ million shares outstanding and low institutional ownership is quite striking. I'm guessing everyone is just holding their positions waiting on new news about the CR%. Makes sense.

Just curious if that is the likely reason, or if other long haulers have seen this happen from time to time?

It seems that shorters/manipulators have completely lost their interest in TLT since the LKSKI news. Someone has been agressively buying/protecting this stock for some time, and getting a sizeable piece. They get to take a break, lol.
