Yukon electionThere is a general election in Yukon on Monday. If the conservative party wins, there would likely be movement fairly soon on the tote road.
If the liberals hold on to power, they may feel emboldened to start speaking positively about the road. They are doing a balancing act but I don't think they like the optics of stranding a proven resource. A terrible precedent to set. The first few months after an election would be a good time for them to approve the road, and then there would be 4 years for the First Nation and the public to forget that it was their decision.
If the NDP wins then this stock will basically be dead money for at least 4 years. Unless they can get some really big results in Nevada.
