WOW !! ReconAfrica made it

WOW !! ReconAfrica made itThis stratigraphic test well has accomplished all the goals Reconnaissance set for it.

The objectives of the first test well were:
- environmentally
- safe
- achievement of the TD
- sampling of whole and sidewall cores
- significant well data
- Evidence of a functional hydrocarbon system

Together with the relocation of the second test well ONLY 16km north = in the same subbasin, the facts are clear to me: The first test well was a complete success !

Furthermore, ReconAfrica is increasing the personnel with top-class people. Another indication that the first borehole was probably not only sand and stone.

Speculation: Cause the second test well will also be a statigraphic test, I suspect that they want to use it to document the extent of this proven basin. If that is very likely to be proven, the third well will drill directly for oil/gas traps within those 16km based on the seismic data. This is also the assumption from drilling specialist abba25 !
