RE:RE:RE:RE:Trading at 0.92 CAD Equivalent in Frankfurt
I'm British but based in the Netherlands. Yes, I think this next few months is the risky bit as this is venture capital type investment that could go straight up or straight down - but if the technology can be proven more then it can really take off. Management looks reliable from the desk research I've done, company has a competitive advantage at the moment and patent license looks to be in place (although I hate it that the IP is kept in a related party entity). Not sure about the quality of their auditor though - may need a higher tier to get significantly more money invested (could be wrong about this though, just I've never had experience with or heard of that auditor). The potential in developed markets is huge. Also regarding emerging markets, FinDev Canada and IFC should be able to help out the company there when the time is right with JVs, capital light expansion and protection of IP (people don't mess too much with IFC) - in many of these countries there's a huge problem with waste and pollution - and they are not going to get widespread electric or hydrogen vehicles anytime soon (particularly outside the BRICs) - local partners, impact investors and PE funds should jump on it if it works out.
