Then built a pilot processing plant on site in 2017 and operated the pilot plant in 2018 to determine the quality of grade and best procedure to processe the graphite through the pilot plant.
Once these procedures were completed and the management team was satisfied with the results, the company decided to start construction on building the commercial sized processing plant.
At the same time filed for a full mining license with the Namibia ministry of mines and was granted ML215 mining license in March of 2020.
I'll also add that the Aukam mine site is a historically mine graphite project, which has been previously mined in the past.
