Does it mean that they had constructed the mill to process sulfide ores when the ores were really oxidized? (do I have that right, or do I have it backwards?)

Do you recall the photos taken during Novo's mill upgrade? Lot's of parts and system components looked fairly worn out and neglected.
And the whole PINOX circuit debacle ended up in mound of corroded crapola.
