RE:RE:RE:RE:Crew Director Karen Nielson joins cleantech board.Actually I worked on all this back in 1976 under the tutelage of a very brilliant man. He was way ahead of his time, and left in disgust when he realized that he was not being taken seriously. Often it would take me months just to figure out what he was saying ,and he had many ideas !
Anyway I was convinced that he would be right some day, So maybe that day is near.
PSA was in its infancy back then as was cryogenic separation. Both held lots of promise.
A quick scan by google shows that everyone is working on it as revealed by AAV, Enbridge, the NRC, etc.etc.
Normally , refineries are best suited to producing hydrogen, however they may have fewer locations for CO2 sequestration.
The other pertinent point is that the cost of green hydrogen is very expensive.
So how will all this shake out ? The starting point is a SWOT analyses (Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats ) Presumably , a lot of this work has already been done , and therefore we may just be starting on a very ptomising future!!
