Global plastic shortage triggered by Texas deep freeze

Global plastic shortage triggered by Texas deep freeze https://wwwzerohedge.com/commodities/global-plastic-shortage-triggered-texas-deep-freeze

Interesting article indicates the shuttering of petrochemical plants across Texas due to cold weather in February has created a plastics shortage and the price of polypropelene reaches its highest price in years.   The damage to wide-scale supply chain impacts major companies like Toyota Motor Corp, paint maker PPG Industries, home builders, hospitals, etc    where "demand is overwhelming supply".      If only Heartland were up and running right now.   But this clearly shows Heartland has a geographic advantage - not subject to weather.   Let's not forget Texas also gets hurricanes.
