RE:Unique Science TB does revisit an important topic that has us all holding our breaths of some sorts, but I believe the real questions to ask here are do the tests that Promis sumbitted for approval achieve 99,9% sensitivity and 99,5 specificity% and more importantly do the detected antibodies have neutralizing activity?
I'm amusing that there must already be people in ''the know'' as to the effectiveness of their test and by they, I'm talking about the new investors. My guess is that this SARS CoV-2 test that Promis's has pending for approval tipped the scales for them to embark on the rest of Promis's Unique Science.
The current version of the ProMIS-BCNI antibody test achieves 99.90% sensitivity and 99.50% specificity for SARS CoV-2, the novel coronavirus causing COVID-19 and can be used to detect immune exposure to the virus. But the key step in development of a ‘best in class’ test is to create an assay that not only detects the presence of antibodies specific for the SARS CoV-2 virus but importantly, also allows to determine whether or not the detected antibodies have neutralizing activity,
