Acreage for Canopy shares

So $17 US Canopy fixed will get you $29 US worth of Canopy for a triggering event today if things stay relevant.  I can only imagine what value those CGC shares will be worth with said triggering event.  Easy double to $60 or better because they will be in huge demand, especially by US investors who were brave enough to trade 4 million shares of CGC today, despite the Fed shadow.

Canopy has already ponied up $330 million and they chose Acreage Holdings for their US footprint, when we are allowed to leave a footprint.  The rest of the deal is the shareswap of Canopy for Acreage at about 1 for 3.  Printing share certificates is easy and cheap.  So cheap in fact that they may just print up enough extras to assume the Acreage floating shares too.  Either way Canopy will be firmly in the driver's seat with huge backing from Constellation Brands for success in the US.  glta and dyodd
