I'm no expert but I've read that not all areas in a space are equal when it comes to air circulation in a room and low-circulation areas can exist, areas where air movement is kind of separate from or slower than the main currents. This one in particular looks like it's in an alcove sort of configuration. I hope that doesn't impair its ability.
