Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:Scare tactics and short attacks are done

RE:RE:RE:Scare tactics and short attacks are doneMany Canadian Aphria share holders do not have a us account so their shares will be liquidated from what I read in the agreement, many have in in an RRSP or tfsa so that can’t be transferred as far as I know.
The logistics in automated transfer of the sp from Canada to us account with the exchange rate and fractional share agreement sounds daunting.
I feel they should have had Tilray added to the tax on completion of the merger so Canadian funds will stay in Canada.
I’ll reread the agreement but I didn’t read about Canadian funds being transferred to a us account.
I understand what you’re saying but those without an us account will have their shares liquidated so no long term play for them imo.
If there is no bump in sp from earnings on Monday were sool    I hope you’re right on their surprise upside report tomorrow
