Getting the vaccine does NOT mean you have a guarantee you wont get covid. It means if you do, you wont end up in the hospital and die. You'll get a more mild case.

Efficacy to not get covid again from a vaccine runs anywhere between 67-92%

As of yet, of all the people vaccinated, not one has then died from covid. 100% efficacy in that category.

THATS why you get the vaccine.
