RE:RE:Coincidentally, LFP news top story on CNBC this mornI'm just going to add that energy densites are lower when you switch out nickel for iron in the cathode. Also ternary batteries have low cycles, they are basically garbage for re-usuability. I almost think these car companies mention alternatives to lower hype/price of nickel, they know that physics can't be changed. There is some expectation that they can improve alternative battery cycles/density in the future but it's nowhere close in the short term future.
