RE:Interesting intervjue LJ – excellent interview – thanks for the heads-up – everyone should watch it – very informative and confirming.
It just reinforces why I want to stay here – I think eventually the hardest decision will be when to sell – I believe there will be plenty of opportunities, over time, to make a real good profit. And it sounds like that might start as early as this Fall (e.g. Inel, Sophia).
But frankly I think the real ‘elephant-size’ profit opportunities probably don’t come until we get into the strong ‘steep and deep’ drilling of what we expect to be our numerous gold/copper porphyries – unless of course Newmont entices us with enough money to secure (buy or JV) Castle sometime this year – but even if they do, it sounds like we will still have lots of other porphyries to explore over the next few years.
I realize TB is upbeat and positive about our future and that is his nature. A large part of my career was based on assessing people across the table, it was fundamental to my business – my assessment of TB, based on watching his various comments/actions in a few different videos now, is that he is straight-forward and tells you what he believes, based on his education, experience, and expert knowledge. I don’t think we can ask for more than that. And just to buttress that, we also know he has bought a substantial amount of shares on the open market in the last few months.
TB’s comments regarding their strategy of getting the SP up before starting to do the expensive drilling and/or probably needing to do that before QEX will get an equitable JV opportunity – this illustrates to me that both TB and JM are aligned and committed to optimizing QEX’s shareholder value. I see a well managed company with a very good plan and solid financing, that is also nimble enough to be able to take advantage of any sudden beneficial opportunity.
Again in this video what TB says, about QEX and its properties, describes what I believe to be an extraordinary opportunity. To me, this video gave more detail regarding his/their thoughts and strategies about most of our properties (e.g. Castle, KSP/KingPin , Sophia, Hit) – they all sound good.
I realize this is all speculative, until you make/prove a commercial discovery(s) – but I must admit, the more I learn about QEX (properties, management/technical, plans/actions, strategies, funding…) the harder it is to remember that – there are just too many opportunities, and they are managing them.
TB expects that we should start to know something definitive in September/October.
