@Ggoldhunter_ceo.ca @iberius...For those who want to read the MD&A, link attached here...https://www.sedar.com/GetFile.do?lang=EN&docClass=7&issuerNo=00004004&issuerType=03&projectNo=03200026&docId=4925229. It has a lot of good stuff in there (a must read). Following a re-reading of the MD&A here are some additional notes: (a) It would seem that FVL is quite confident that they are have found the high-grade area at the NE end of Tolovana (where people have speculate the intersection of this SW-NE vein/fault with the EW veins cluster (Colorado, Wackwitz and Wyoming) with the current results. This convergence is at the bend of the hockey goalie stick. The Tolovana vein is the handle of the hockey stick, and the cluster of EW veins is the fat blade of the stick. FVL have found some good grade for hole 2009. The rest of the results (coming soon) would show how long that blade will stretch out (holes 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2017), noting that it's a 650m step-out from hole 2007 to 2017, from West to East), and the distance from hole 2008 to 2012 is over 300m from north to south. (b) Back-of-envelope math: If (big if) they/FVL hit some decent grade in this area of 650m x 350m area for a depth of say 200m at an average grade of 2gpt, additional RE would be 650 x 350 x 200 x 2.7 = 122.8M tonnes rock x 2gpt/31 = 7.87Moz Au...rounding off to 7Moz Au. This would be additional to the current global RE for Golden Summit of some 6.5MozAu. Even with only 50% of 7MozAu (say, assuming an average grade of 1gpt) of 7Moz, the additional RE of 3.5MozAu would result in a total RE of 10Moz. Kinross would be interested? 4 11 Apr 2021, 17:09
