Relax Everyone !, Results are disappointing ,no doubt but let's not lose sight of the big picture ;
1, the whole world is practically locked down to a level that might be at best 60% inormal .
Anyway ,you cut it , this seriously impacts business .
2 Cannabis industry has plenty of room for growth especially statsjde and Globally . The industry will be around for practically ever so a slow steady build out will yield good returns eventually .
( Think of Amazon . Initially it was losing money for years then it reached a critical mass and bingo it is now a cash cow. Aphria will never be as a big as Amazon but with a solid ,global and diverse footprint it will generate good cash and returns over time )
3. Global and USA legallizatiion is largely a given within 1- 3 years . Governments need the taxes,
Younger generations are more accepting of Cannabis so politicians will aim to please electorate .
4. New investors and institutions will most likely prefer to invest in companies with a good track record and some history versus a fly by night operation . eventually this will lead to a solid steady growth for our Tilray /Aphria . IMO they are in a great position to become and remain one of the top dogs in this industry .
All in all, today's results are a setback , but only minor .In fact , it is a gift ,in one sense , because now we can all buy more discounted shares .
No investment is 100% guaranteed but given the wide array of forces at play ,as tailwinds, for this stock ,I am comfortable holding my shares with the belief that they will once again ascend into the 30.00 + range within a year.
