Question

QuestionWas thinking about Yasch's earlier post this morning and about the regulatory approval part of it. What happens if Canada does not approve the sale of the patents? Would they have to compensate or buy them from BB instead? If so, would this not be a small fraction of what they're worth or would they match the agreed upon value? Starting to wonder if the Canadian gov't could be influenced to squash what would/should be a lucrative deal. In my industry they've bent over backwards to help FB/streamers decimate the local industry. They have basically not done anything for the last 4 yrs all the while the US firms have now secured a stranglehold of the industry. I sure hope they are not doing the same here. They would have to take the opposite approach here though in trying to protect IP and in the culture industry they've totally sacrificed local IP. Interesting dichotomy if that is indeed even a possibility of them rejecting the deal. Interesting times to say the least .
