PerspectiveWas reluctant to weigh in because I feel VSR is at a critical inflection point, but decided to
anyways. While I appreciate Garland for his professional input and analysis, VSR has already
gone through elevated expectations and subsequent disappointment. Many bought in
including myself on the back of PG's involvement and the anticipation of a takeover by IMG.
That may happen but certainly not in the timeframe of intitial expectations. While promotion
is great, any ceo must be careful to be able to back up the promotion with material news
flow to generate sustained buying or else the inevitable selloff takes place and you find the
market prices your stock right back to where its started. I don't think we need any more of
that IMO and quite frankly, at this point I am ok with more of an under promise...over deliver
type situation. An understated approach is fine for now, but when the good news starts
flowing, by all means IR should be pushing the envelope.
In the meantime. keep accumulating. PG didn't go silent and cease trading for 7 days just
for nothing.
