As you say, even if locked-down businesses don't have a need for BC right now, there are functioning places that could use them. I'd say there are tens of thousands of those across North America alone. Yet what do we have? A tweet about a single Mercedes-Benz dealership install (assuming it's not a mere trial) and a few pilot installs. That's pathetic when the market even during a lockdown is tens of thousands.
Someone on the other board provided a link about Davis Controls saying there's a 4-6-week back order because demand is greater than supply. (See https://twitter.com/festa_luca/status/1382015397155762184?s=21.) Well, I know where Davis can get a bunch of them. They were stacked behind the Kontrol spokesman in the latest video. Unless those were just empty boxes. Given what we've seen and heard so far, supply must amount to or two units a week. OES must be churning out scoreboards left and right with some part-time dude coming in for an hour or two for BioCloud. And I'm sorry, but I'm not buying the story that a worldwide chip shortage is crimping BioCloud manufacturing to a sliver of a dribble of a drip. This still looks like a marketing problem to me.
And speaking of that last video, maybe next time the presenter can wear something more presentable and professional and confidence-inspiring than grubby jeans and a sweatshirt. And maybe wash his hair. The guy spoke well enough but marketing is about more than that. He looked like he just finished changing his spark plugs ffs.
