RE:RE:System Moderates Once In Office

RE:RE:System Moderates Once In Office
"During his campaign, Mr. Castillo proposed re-writing the constitution, restructuring the pension system and nationalizing the natural gas industry." & "The extent to which Congress can work with the incoming administration will be critical to the governments capacity for passing growth-enhancing and fiscal reforms. The next president will contend with a fragmented congress of at least 10 parties, requiring strategic alliances to pass legislation and ease governability challenges. Mr. Castillos Free Peru party won around 37 of 130 seats (28% of votes) in the legislature to Ms. Fujimoris Popular Forces 24 seats(18% votes). Fitch will monitor the next administrations policy stance on economic reformsincluding progress on tax measures to close the projected revenue gap after strengthening copper revenues, strengthening social supports, national pension system reform, measures to lower business informality and increase labor market flexibility and rekindling private infrastructure and mining investment." From the article. Note that he wants to build a pipeline to import cheaper gas also. I may be over optimistic here but I doubt with such a minority he wants to privatize all resources.
